Arapalla White Moonlight - dob 04/08/2023 - Ejen Park Azzarah X Elleon White Knight
As the full moon rose over the hills bathing the paddocks in a magical silvery white glow, Azzarah's foal decided to enter the world at the respectable time of 9:15pm.
Appaloosa colt - chestnut near leopard, 50% Arabian, 37.5% Appaloosa and 12.5% Warmblood. He should mature 15.2hh plus. He's already a curious fellow and is trying to boss his mum around with his sassy attitude.
Colour results are in; AA, ee, LP/n and n/n for PATN1. Officially a chestnut appaloosa.
Arapalla White Dawn - dob 18/08/2023 - Bellarine Odyssey X Elleon White Knight
This little foal is the carbon copy of her half-brother JJ, only in filly form!
She entered the world somewhere around 11:30pm. My last check was 10:30pm and I had my alarm set for 12:30am, but Oddy decided to have a sneaky birth without the human watching. She was also wearing a foaling alarm which didn't go off - it was checked the day before and was working. Perhaps she didn't set off the alarm because she hadn't stretched out flat on the ground to give birth.
The little filly was up on her feet in a flash and soon found the milk bar. I am very proud of Oddy, she's a first-time mum at the age of 17 and has been attentive and patient to her baby.
This filly is Appaloosa, Anglo Arabian and Warmblood X - chestnut near leopard
We are sticking with the "White" theme in naming all of Euro's foals.
Colour results are in; AA, ee, LP/n, PATN1/n - chestnut appaloosa carrying one copy PATN1

The season just keeps getting better! I've finally been blessed with a black pure Arabian filly! Her name says it all - the elusive black filly. Shahzor, her sire is black himself but sired 7 non-black foals before her. This filly is very special to me and will be retained in the stud.
For the past three weeks Tilly kept setting off the alarm at 3:30am and each time I went out she was just napping. This time the alarm went off at 1:30am, two hours early in Tilly's napping routine. I didn't rush out, thinking another false alarm, and when I went up to Tilly she was lying down but on closer inspection the foal had emerged, still partially in the sack, hiding behind Tilly and not visible from the front. I could have missed this one quite easily had I not gotten up close. The filly passed all her milestones with flying colours and Tilly is a proud and attentive mum.
This filly is a grand daughter of the amazing and influential stallion RNZ Scorza, who sadly passed away earlier this year. She will be show prepped and halter trained and has a future in the show ring as well as eventually being started under saddle in addition to becoming a valuable broodmare herself in the years to follow.

My Christmas present has arrived, and what a beauty! Finishing the year on a high. A palomino filly with spots, who could ask for more! She's exquisite and everything I was hoping for in this mating.
She entered the world at the respectable hour of 10pm on 21st December, and was standing within half an hour. She is our first non Arabian bred foal since we started our stud in 2019. She will be suited to performance and will definitely stand out in the crowd.
Luckily Barbie was wearing an alarm otherwise I would have missed this one as she came out quickly. The alarm went off, I rushed out to see two feet emerging, then rushed back to get the husband, then came back two minutes later and the filly was on the ground. Barbie is an experienced broodmare and is an absolutely amazing mum, she makes my job so much easier with her laid back attitude and relaxed manner.
I can't wait to see her unfold!
Second lot of pics at 6 weeks old.
